Do you have a good or abusive relationship with your body?
You are in a relationship/married with your body you can't treat it like shit and then be surprised when it breaks up with you or asks for a divorce aka starts to fail you or is in a shape you don't recognize covered with fat.
Nourish it like you want the relationship to work. Treat it well, give it some nourishing foods, and move it around.
Don't go from 0 to 100 because that leads to burnout and is not sustainable.
